Knight's Quest
A downloadable game for Windows
Knight's Quest is a game where you play as a knight on a quest to save the princess from the castle!
Please play Knight's Quest Alternative first, as it is much easier than the original Knight's Quest. Think of Knight's Quest Alternative as normal difficulty and Knight's Quest as hard difficulty.
Knight's Quest is the first game I've ever created from scratch. Knight's Quest was originally a game jam game but I spent an extra few weeks to add more features. About 80% of the game was created in just one week, including creating the assets, animations, and core gameplay. The game was developed in Unreal Engine and all the assets and animations were created in Blender.

very nostaligic game
Thanks for playing!
I might have gone a bit too far in some places, so I added a new, easier version of the game that has less enemies and rebalances some damage/health numbers. Play this new version first and then play the original version for extra challenge.
The new version is called Knight's Quest Alternative.
Known bugs/issues:
1. Uncommon bug where the enemy dash attack where deals more damage than intended. This bug is extremely rare.2. Common bug where player randomly cannot attack for a period of time, usually after dodging. This is a bug that I just recently found, and it is only present in the packaged final build and not in the editor version. My guess is that it's tied to the framerate of the game. While this is an annoying issue, I was able to beat the game multiple times despite this bug, so I think it's still playable. I'd rather not delay the game again, so I'll release a fixed version of the game in the future.
